The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) was is Maastricht University's main hub for the development of entrepreneurial competencies and talent. Our aim is to build, together with our partners, a regional eco-system that develops the entrepreneurial, strategic and innovative capabilities of both new as well as existing entrepreneurs. We strongly believe that an approach focused on shared responsibility and cooperation will lead this region to develop on the potential of all knowledge and skills present here. Our Story

Established in 2019, the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) was founded in order to build an entrepreneurial eco-system in and around Maastricht University. We quickly realized that this meant not only strengthening our efforts in providing the best entrepreneurship education possible in all faculties but rather also using the knowledge present with Maastricht University to boost the regional entrepreneurial and innovative eco-system. We are happy that since our inception we trained over a 1000 students in our entrepreneurial curriculum, are engaged in mentoring over a 100 start-ups and have worked together with 75 small, medium and large companies to enhance their strategic, innovative and entrepreneurial competencies.
